Borgward 3 tonner Benzin G.W 1939

The Borgward 3-Tonner, which was designated Typ 3 tonner Benzin G.W. by the Wehrmacht, was powered by a 65 HP engine. It was manufactured from 1938 to 1941. The vehicle had the open standard driver’s cab (Einheitsführerhaus) of the Wehrmacht built in 1939.

 

It was found deep in Istra lake, still wears tactical sign of Pz.Pi.abt 209, which was part of 11 panzer division (Gespenster division).
