We are currently restoring a fine Sd.Kfz. 250 ausf B with a very intersting history, hull was found in lower Bavaria (Niederbayern) battles spring 1945, and body comes from Ukraine, Tcherkassy encirclement which could be one of belongings 14 panzer division wehrmacht, or 5 SS division Wiking.
Vehicle survived some minor damages, overall condition of each part looking very nice, with many rests of original yellow paint.
Inside of crew compartment clearly visible rest of mount MG ammunition box to a rear wall which says about 2 variations of version 250/1 or 250/10, however in /10 it needs another roof above driver and radio operator. We can judge it was a 250/1 I Grupp Führer, with Radio (it is visible rests of antenna and radio Fusprech f. mount). Btw. Grupp Führer Stellvertretter 2nd vehicle in each MG GP group has no radio in(says manual D672/9 page 20).
This one would be completely restored to its former glory complete inside and outside all working with fully original driving condition.
